Todays paddle boarding trip went awesome! This was all of our first time going to Silverton Reservoir and it won’t be our last. The water was nice and calm with a great surrounding of wildlife. We arrived at 10:15am to a half empty parking lot and very few people on the water.
Estefana and I arrived before my Aunt so we began pumping ahead of time! To park here you will need a parking permit, which can be purchased at the KIOSK in the parking lot. After getting the paddle boards pumped up and ready we hauled them down to the put in. We were concerned about air quality as there had been wildfires near by but you can see in the pictures that it was pretty clear.

This reservoir is well maintained and is a pleasure to visit. The water level was low today as there hasn’t been any rain for weeks. Most of the people we saw, where here to fish; although, as noon came around more paddle boards and kayaks started showing up. We finished jout snack and kombucha on the paddle boards then turned around and headed back.
Every trip must come to an end so we made our way back to the docks. This paddle boarding trip has been one of the best so far and we were eager to plan more before heading home. If your around great people and beautiful places your assured a great memory. Paddle boarding the Silverton Reservoir with these two amazing people made one superb experience.
